What Our Learners Have To Say

Pursuing my MBA through AIM and UWA with Emeritus has been an incredibly enriching experience, both professionally and personally. As a senior executive in IT for the top Philippine bank, I have found the curriculum to be highly relevant and immediately applicable to my work. The program’s rigorous academic structure, combined with practical insights from my fellow learners, has significantly broadened my thinking and capabilities. Every module challenges me to think critically and innovate, equipping me with the tools to drive impactful change within my organization. One of the most rewarding aspects of this program is the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of fellow learners from around the globe. The rich exchange of conversations and perspectives has not only expanded my professional network but also fostered a deep sense of camaraderie and mutual support. The diversity in backgrounds and industries represented in our cohort has enriched our discussions, providing me with fresh insights to challenges. This innovative learning environment has truly been a highlight of my MBA journey, making it a transformative experience that extends far beyond the virtual classroom....

6 months have passed and now I realized I am a quarter done from having my Global MBA degree from The University of Western Australia (UWA) and Asian Institute of Management (AIM). While learning, my colleagues/classmates turned into friends and family as we learn from each other's life experiences both at a professional and personal level. Our modules are self-paced but my team and I meet virtually at least once a week, or at least we try , to work on our capstone projects. It is definitely one of the best learning journeys for me and I'd love for everyone to be able to have the same opportunity while saving quite significant costs....

" Enrolling in the UWA Global MBA with Post Graduate Diploma from AIM has been one of the most transformative decisions of my professional life. After nearly three decades of building a career in business consulting and financial advisory, I believed I had a solid foundation. But this program challenged that belief — in the best possible way. It expanded my thinking, sharpened my decision-making, and gave me a global perspective that I didn’t know I was missing. What made this program stand out was how immediately applicable the learnings were. The Managerial Economics module helped me see beyond surface-level business issues and understand the deeper, structural forces at play — from pricing models and cost behavior to consumer incentives and market dynamics. I began to support my clients with a more analytical, data-driven lens, improving their ability to make sound strategic decisions. People Management was another key turning point. It gave me the tools to lead with both structure and empathy — to guide teams not just as groups of individuals, but as aligned, motivated human systems. I’ve since coached clients through challenging team restructurings and culture shifts, and the results have been tangible. Throughout the program, I gained not just knowledge, but confidence. Confidence to back up my experience with contemporary theory. Confidence to advise at a higher level. Confidence to lead not just from instinct, but from insight. But perhaps the most unexpected benefit was personal. Taking this MBA later in life — after years of real-world experience — gave me a richer, more grounded appreciation for the material. I was not learning for the sake of a diploma. I was learning to improve lives — my clients’, my team’s, and my own. This program didn’t just add three letters after my name. It added value to everything I already knew — and everything I am yet to become. For anyone considering this journey: if you're looking to stretch your potential, elevate your impact, and become a more thoughtful, strategic, and credible leader — this is the path."...

" When I enrolled at the AIM, I knew it would challenge me - A LOT!. What I didn’t expect was how deeply it would shape my heart and character, too. Looking back, this journey was never just about frameworks, lectures, or case studies and capstones — though we had plenty of those, and they were so intense! It was about learning to unlearn, leading with humility, and listening as much as speaking up. Late nights, endless readings, and the occasional dugo’t pawis moments — all worth it. Because behind every module was a lesson in resilience, adaptability, and purpose. What made AIM special for me wasn’t just the academic rigor. It was my cohort (Sept 2023), mentors, profs, who shared real-life insights so generously. I gained a community, a safe space to debate, discuss, laugh, reflect, and grow with humility. What it’s like to be an AIM alumnus, I’d say…. it means you carry forward not just a degree, but a responsibility to share what you know, to uplift others, and to keep learning, even after this first year leg at the School of Executive Education for Lifelong Learning. Choosing to take the UWA Global MBA with AIM was a leap I took while managing marketing for both a manufacturing and a cybersecurity company in Australia—two fast-paced, technical industries that demanded strategic thinking and adaptability. At the same time, I was (and still am) deeply involved in film and gaming communities here in the Philippines, where I help lead initiatives and organize events that bring people together through creativity and shared passion. I needed a program that would match the complexity of my professional life, and this MBA delivered in all the right ways. The coursework was practical, the structure flexible, and the insights immediately applicable whether I was presenting campaign performance, managing cross-border projects, or mentoring younger creatives. But more than anything, the program helped me rediscover my voice as a leader. It gave me a renewed sense of purpose, grounded not just in career success, but in community, advocacy, and impact....

" Enrolling for the UWA Global MBA with its dual credential from UWA and AIM was one of the best decisions I made for my career. This program leveled up my skills, advance professionally, and even expand my network. The modules were so comprehensive, and I loved how they focused on real-world case studies. Additionally, being able to do it online at my own pace was a game-changer – it fit perfectly with my busy schedule. Thanks to this program, I feel way more confident and gained so many new perspectives that are already helping me make much better decisions. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to elevate their professional journey. "...
